Shamrock Wellness Program

     The Shamrock Wellness Program will be proactive in creating a healthy, happy community by addressing holistic Wellness of mind, body and spirit.  Beginning the week of October 15, different classes will be available for the students to participate in during open mods. Download the monthly calendar of classes. Note: Because classes are subject to change, students should check the announcement board daily.

     Be on the lookout for a weekly Wellness Bulletin that will address topics included in our approach to holistic Wellness.

     

Class Descriptions

Yoga: This will be an introductory class to teach students basic Yoga postures. There will be a strong emphasis on understanding the importance of specific breathing techniques as students become aware of the union of breath and movement within their bodies.

Circuit Training: This will be a higher-intensity class that will include a variety of exercises designed to build strength and cardiovascular endurance. The level of intensity will depend on each student’s fitness level. All current fitness levels are welcome!

Open Activity:  Will consist of but not limited to – walking, “open gym” and games.
