Being a member of the boarding program community provides many opportunities to have fun, learn and serve others. Below is a sample list of activities that students have participated in during the past year. We always encourage students to attend school sponsored dances, athletic competitions and other events. Some activities are paid for by the school while other optional activities are paid for by the student.
Some examples of larger events we experienced this past year:
A trip to Sea World San Antonio
Attending a Spurs professional basketball game
Attending the Asian New Year Festival at the Institute of Texan Cultures
Assisting with various Catholic Church fairs in the area as a service project
Attending concerts and plays produced by the high school and the university
Shopping at the San Marcos Outlet Malls
Pool Party and Cook Out for the whole program
Going to semi-formal, prom and other school sponsored dances
Outings bowling, playing mini-golf, etc.
Game night: Bingo, Twister, card games, etc.
In addition to these larger activities we also offer students the opportunity to take care of day-to-day matters or enjoy smaller, more frequent trips to the mall, Wal-Mart and other stores.
