A closet for hanging clothes and storage

Two in-room Internet connections

Bed linens, including sheets and a pillowcase (twin size)
Pillow
Bed spread or comforter (twin size) and blankets
Towels, washcloths
Personal toiletries including shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, lotion, hair dryers, etc.
Clothes hangers
Clock radio alarm
Laundry detergent, laundry basket and other supplies
School supplies (students must request a supply list the 1st day of school from their teachers)
Calling Card (for long distance calls)
Students may bring the following items, but they are NOT required:
Personal laptop computer (there are computers available in the lab on the floor)
Foam mattress pad for the bed
Mattress cover (recommended)
Small refrigerator for dorm room (only one refrigerator is permited per room)
Small stereo
Desk lamp
Personal photos, posters, and other personal effects
Rice cookers, water cookers and other heating devices may be brought, however they may be used only in the kitchens due to fire hazards.
Do NOT bring any of the following items:
Candles and lighters
Televisions
Microwaves
Knives or any types of weapons
Illegal drugs, alcohol or cigarettes of any type
Pets or animals of any kind
Students are assigned two residents to a room, so be prepared to share your room. Students must provide their own telephone but this should be coordinated with your roommate because there is only one phone line. Also, only one small refrigerator is permitted per room, so this too is best coordinated with your roommate.
