Retreats
 In keeping with the mission of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and the mission of the school to create a Christian community built on being Christ to one another, each member of our community is required to attend at least one retreat. Retreat dates are listed below.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in our Eucharistic Ministers training and retreat. They must attend this retreat at Incarnate Word High School to be commissioned a Eucharistic Minister for our community.
Retreats for 2009-2010

Peer Ministry Retreat |
August 10-12 |
Bus will depart IWHS @ 4:00 for El Shaddai Retreat Center and will return to school at approximately 4:00 on the 12th |
Senior Retreat |
September 24-25 |
Busses will depart IWHS @ 8:30 a.m. for El Shaddai Retreat Center and return at approximately 3:00 p.m.on the 25th |
Junior Retreat |
November 23-24 |
Busses will depart IWHS @ 8:30 a.m. for Camp Capers and return at approximately 3:00 p.m.on the 24th |
Sophomore Retreat |
February 12 |
Busses will depart IWHS @ 8:30 a.m. and return at approximately 3:00 p.m.. |
Freshmen Retreat |
February 12 |
Students will walk over to Marion Hall @ UIW @ 8:15 a.m. and return @ 3:00 p.m. |
Grace Retreat |
January 15-17 |
Retreat is open to all grade levels and will depart from IWHS at 4:00 p.m. to Deer Creek Camp with a return time of approximately 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. |
Mother/Daughter Retreat

February 26–28 |
Retreat is open to seniors only with their mom or significant female adult in their life. Moms and daughters will be responsible for their own travel to and from the retreat site (TBA). |
