SHAMROCK FUND

Each year alumnae, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends of Incarnate Word High School give to the Annual Fund in an effort to raise unrestricted dollars. The Shamrock Fund gives IWHS the flexibility to allocate resources where they are needed most. When alumnae gifts are combined, these gifts allow us to offer scholarships, to increase diversity, to retain outstanding faculty, and to provide first-rate programs and facilities. Unrestricted gifts make it possible to close the gap between the actual cost required to educate students and the yearly tuition.

*Recent Graduates Only; members must have graduated within the last 10 years and give $10 or more to be a member.

How to make a gift to IWHS:

Our Shamrock Fund calendar runs from June 1 to May 31 of the current year..

Gifts on line - This is the quickest and most convenient way to make a gift to IWHS, using your credit card. IWHS accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express cards. Simply fill out the form and click "Submit".

Gifts by mail - Fill in a PDF version of the form, then print and mail it in with your check payable to Incarnate Word High School, or with your credit card information, for the full amount of your gift. Mail to:

Gifts by phone - You have the option to call the IWHS Development office to make your gift by credit card or you may click on the "Make a Gift" button on this page. IWHS accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. The gift will be processed the day you provide us with your credit card number and expiration date. Please call (210) 829-3103. Business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm CST.

Gifts of Securities - Unendorsed stock certificates should be mailed directly to the Development office by registered mail with a letter stating the purpose of the gift. A signed stock power should be sent under separate cover with a copy of the transmittal letter. This method provides additional security. Please send to:

Memorial Gifts - Gifts may be sent to IWHS in memory of alumnae, parents and/or friends. When memorial gifts are received, the Development/Alumnae Relations office sends an acknowledgement to the donor and to family member(s) of the deceased.

Honorarium Gifts - Gifts may be sent to IWHS in honor of alumnae, parents and/or friends. When honorarium gifts are received, the Development/Alumnae Relations office sends an acknowledgement to the donor and to the honoree.

Corporate Matching Gifts - Matching gifts can double or even triple the value of your gift at no additional cost to you. Check with your company's personnel or benefits office for matching gift information, and if you qualify please include the proper forms with your contribution.

Planned Giving -The Development office seeks future gifts for IWHS through your long-range planning.
