March 29, 2008: SHAMROCK INVITATIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL SPEECH TOURNAMENT
Information for area schools will be distributed in December, 2007.

2007 Tournament :
The Speech and Debate Team with the leadership of Captain, Senior, Sasha Stinner- Trimble, worked for several months preparing for the tournament. Ten local schools and 200 students participated in events such as Poetry, Prose, Impromptu and many others. The awards assembly was held in Mount Erin Hall and was filled with thunderous applause and cheers as parents, students and coaches celebrated their competitive victories. Incarnate Word High School Principal B.J. Nelson presented the students with trophies for placing in the top 3 of each event and ribbons for 4th through 8th place. Brochure (2007)
