San Pedro Creek Project

Bexar County, the San Antonio River Authority and the City of San Antonio, are transforming this creek that had fallen into disrepair into a natural habitat with flowing water, and miles of world-class linear parkway.

These ladies are helping develop historical topics, and detailed information, that will make this creek unique for San Antonio.  The story of more than 300 years of life along the creek will be told along two miles of parkway.  This interesting project will reward and educate generations!  The accomplishment is almost unparalleled.

You can learn more about the San Pedro Creek project by going to spcproject.org and by following progress in the local press.  Phase One of the “new” creek is slated to open in May 2018, as part of our 300th Anniversary celebrations.
