I have been at Incarnate Word High School for the last 4 four years making a total of 21 years teaching in a Catholic school in San Antonio.

I was born and raised in Mexico City, and I have been in Texas for the last 30 years. My husband Jaime and I will be celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary this November. We have two boys, Jaime and Adrian.

I enjoy teaching as much as I enjoy learning. I believe studying another language can improve your ability to analyze and interpret information and succeed in many other subject areas. I like to think that learning an International Language like Spanish, can also open doors to many parts of the world as it is the fourth most commonly spoken language in the world, and the second most commonly spoken language in the United Sates. Experts say that Knowing Spanish can broaden your understanding of this nation’s history and geography, and even help you understand the origin of many English words and expand your own vocabulary. Knowing another language will make you a valuable candidate in today’s global economy.

I have been learning Italian for the past six years and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoy cooking with my family and traveling during the summer months with my husband.
