Supporting Learning

The mission of the Incarnate Word High School Media Center is to foster learning and critical thinking with appropriate resources and programs. Students are encouraged to become lifelong learners who not only love reading, but also have the skills to find, analyze, and use information. In support of the curriculum, the Media Center provides instruction on information and technology literacy, offers space and resources to stimulate interest in reading, provides materials in multiple formats, and ensures 24/7 access to quality online resources. It is the primary center for independent study and research.
