Immigration regulations require students entering on an F-1 student visa to give proof of their financial resources to cover their educational and living expenses while studying in the United States. Incarnate Word requires international students to pay all tuition and fees, including the insurance fee, at the beginning of the academic year or semester.

Varies based on homestay option selected. Students with family friends or relatives in the San Antonio area may qualify for a Parent-Nominated Guardianship option in addition to the options listed above. More information can be found here.

All new applicants must pay the one-time $100 application fee. Applicants who submit their application after the December 6th, 2019 deadline (for Spring 2020 start) or the July 24, 2020 (for Fall 2020 start) may also be assessed a $150 late fee. Funds may come from any dependable source, to include: personal funds, immediate family, scholarships, fellowships, or sponsoring agencies. You will need to submit a bank statement, in English, showing evidence of adequate funds.
