Exchange Program

Whether you are interested in a spring break trip abroad or want to immerse yourself in a new culture for a whole semester, IWHS offers amazing opportunities to see the world! You can also welcome an exchange student into your home and help an international student acclimate to a new country. Participants in the host program will have first priority for the Kumamoto exchange program.

Students can participate in 10-day trip to Heidelberg, Germany led by St. Anthony and/or Incarnate Word High School staff and customized for our students. The trip will include course study in German history and culture at the UIW-affiliated European Study Center, allowing students to visit numerous museums and historical venues, and of course, experience the best of local food and culture. Students participating in the Heidelberg trip are also eligible to enroll in a 0.5 credit Humanities course upon their return and receive a 0.5 credit discount on fall tuition.
