On Spot Admissions & Scholarship Awards

Guidelines:

• If you have not already applied to St. Mary's University, you are REQUIRED to apply at least 2 business days before their visit to ensure you are in their application system
• Shamrocks can also apply through ApplyTexas; however, St. Mary's prefers you utilize their admission site to apply: www.stmarytx.edu/apply before the visit.
• Transcripts have already been provided directly to St. Mary's and will also be provided for those who apply by October 10th, 2023.
• Application fee waivers are not necessary, as St. Mary's admissions application is free.
• Optional: A PDF copy of each student's score report from either ACT.org or CollegeBoard.org is needed should a student decide to apply with test scores. Shamrocks are encouraged to submit all test scores from both the ACT and SAT as they super-score.
• If a student decides to apply as test optional without test scores, then the high school transcript will suffice. 
• To be competitive in both the admission and scholarship review process, St. Mary's encourages applicants to have at least a 3.0 GPA or higher. St. Mary's offers a holistic review process for all students, including those who fall under a 3.0 GPA.
